120 Copper Court - Bedroom

All the rooms on the first and second floor are officially complete and ready to be decorated.  The room I just finished this morning is the bedroom.  It's been wallpapered for awhile now, so it didn't take long to put the carpet in and put in the trims.  I had originally wanted to do some sort of ceiling decoration, but I changed my mind when all of my ideas seemed to make the room look shorter than it already does.  With the ceiling height at slightly less than 8" high, I figure less is more in this case.  Like with the kitchen and bathroom, the diningroom bay alcove underneath this room was extended out 2" to give me more room for the furniture pieces I want to use.  Doing this to the diningroom gave me a great idea...create a balcony off the bedroom.  Thus, I sacrificed some wall space to put in a door.  I have yet another nice idea for the door I'm going to build, so stay tuned to see this at a later date.

I have some awesome furniture pieces to fill this room, so like the rest of the house, am looking forward to the decorating stage.  Now, last but definitely not least, the top floor room!  Onward and upward, as they say.

Hello,
Okay, here's the thing. I can't believe what you've done to this kit! It looks so much grander and elegant then I thought possible. Every detail is just perfect. The bedroom is lovely, the bathroom is going to look like it came out of a magazine, and the staircase is stunning. You have to be the most talented kit basher I've come accross.
I am very impressed and inspired by your work.
Hugs,
Giac

The bedroom is so elegant and beautiful already. I love the blue and white theme - it's definitely my favourite. And I always love full-length doors on to a balcony. I agree with Giac - you do an amazing job of kit-bashing! Sandie (Snippets from my Studio)
