120 Copper Court - 2nd Floor Hallway and Stairs

This section has actually been finished for quite some time now, but my regular digital camera would just not fit in the hallway to get proper photos.  iPhone to the rescue!!  I figured out it will get me into tighter places, so now take most of the photos of this dollhouse with my iPhone; for some reason they just turn out better.  So here is the hallway and staircases on the second floor.

Looking down the hall from the back of the house.

A few more steps.....

A small nook to put just the right furniture piece in.  Notice the intricate detailing on the staircase.

Turning the other way, looking at the window and the stairs going down to the first floor.

Looking down from outside the bathroom.

And here is an older photo of the entire staircase layout.  I just couldn't make myself use the stair kit that came with the dollhouse kit; not realistic enough for my tastes.  It's just too bad you can't see most of the stairs due to the exterior walls closing it in.  :O(

The hall will be fun to decorate with a nice selection of the family photos and artwork!  Onward to the bedroom now.

Wonderful staircase! Good decision not to put the original one in.
I love the photos you took with your IPhone, it seems like you are really inside the house, so much more realistic!

That staircase is very special - I noticed the detailing on the stairs straight away. It is a feature I always see on good staircases in real life and love to try to do in miniature as well. You are making everything quality in this house, can't wait to see how you furnish it!
