Kierstyn's Castle, Pt. 1

I've started yet another project, but this one will actually get done!  ;-)  My dad and I are building a dollhouse for my niece, and his grand daughter, Kierstyn.  She's six years old and is in the "princess" stage, so what better than a castle that she can play and make believe with?  Here are just the basic pieces put together after being primed/sealed so that we can determine what rooms to do, what alterations to the design we might do, etc.  This kit is called the Cumberland Castle and East Wing and is made by Dolls House Emporium.

Wow, Kierstyn is going to feel like such a special little girl when she sees this. I can only imagine how fantastic it's going to look when you two are finished with it. You are an awesome Aunt and Rob is a wonderful Grandpa. She will surely feel like thee most special princess ever when she opens it.
