Some exterior work on Stitch-n-Time

I just can't get a decent picture to save my life! Such a glare! Anyhoo, the below pictures are of the store front. It's kind of hard to tell, but I used clear Gallery Glass paint on the insides of the windows, around the edges, to give the windows a frosted accent. I also frosted the arched window over the door.

The bottom two photos show the two signs. I used my woodburner with an extra fine tip to burn the letters into the wood and then I stained them. I'm pretty excited about how they turned out. (odd how the lights look 'orange' in the photos tho...hmm).

You need to shoot at an angle if you are using a flash. That way the flash will reflect off in the other direction and not back into your lens. The best solution would be to set up extra lights that are very bright (150w +) if you have them, and turn off your flash. That will give you a more realistic look to your photos. Use your macro lens if you have that option on your camera. That's the button that has the little flower shape. You do nice work, it would be good to show it off at its best.

Marie, how did you get the lettering so perfect? Was it traced?
